Every Parent Knows This Moment

It's 3 AM. The baby is crying. You're both awake, both exhausted, both silently hoping the other one will get up. Then comes the whispered negotiation — who went last time, who has the earlier morning, who's more tired. It happens every night, and it's slowly wearing you both down. What if only one of you had to wake up?

A couple asleep in a dark bedroom at night. Only one partner's smartwatch is lit, showing a Dozzi alert reading Baby crying, your turn. The other partner sleeps on, undisturbed.

Alert routing

Four ways to split the night

You pick the rule in the app, and you can change it whenever life changes.

Alternating

You take turns. Dozzi wakes one of you this time and the other one next time, automatically — so neither of you has to keep score or remember whose turn it was.

Schedule

You're on duty from 10 PM to 2 AM. Your partner takes 2 AM to 6 AM. Dozzi handles it automatically so there's no ambiguity and no negotiation.

Smart

Dozzi reads each parent's heart rate and movement against their own baseline — plus who's had less sleep and who answered last. The parent best positioned to wake up gets the notification — the other sleeps through.

All Caregivers

Sends alerts to everyone monitoring simultaneously. Choose it on the nights you want everyone woken together.

Every other monitor wakes you both up.

We put Dozzi side by side with the monitors you're probably already considering — on who it's built for, how it routes an alert, what it costs in year one, and what happens at 3 AM. The comparison isn't really about the baby.

A wrist resting on dark bedding at night. The smartwatch shows a night-vision view of a sleeping baby in a crib, sent from a linked Ring camera.

Optional add-on · Works with your Ring camera

Use a Ring camera to check on your nursery without picking up your phone.

Dozzi itself is audio-only. But plenty of parents already have a camera in the nursery, and sometimes you want to look before you get up. Link a Ring camera and an alert on your wrist comes with a snapshot from the room — usually enough to tell “she’s just rolling around” from “someone needs to go in.” Want more than a still? Open your phone and stream the live feed.

Setting it up takes about two minutes: make sure your Ring camera is working in the Ring app, open Settings in the Dozzi app and choose the camera integration, sign in with your Ring account, then pick the camera in your baby's room. You can turn it off again any time.

$3/month. Requires a Ring account and compatible camera, sold separately. Everything else Dozzi does works without it, at no recurring cost. More in the FAQ.

Not just about sleep. About us.

The 3 AM negotiation isn't really about whose turn it is. It's about two exhausted people who love each other trying to be fair in the dark, and slowly losing the energy to feel like a team. Dozzi removes the negotiation so you can stop keeping score and start getting sleep. Together.

What families are saying

“My husband could sleep through a fire alarm… He wears his watch every night now. And for the first time since having kids, I actually sleep through his turn.”

— Chanlyn Imler

“Gone are the awkward grumpy stare offs in the middle of the night waiting for someone to say ‘I’ll do it.’ Only one of us is alerted and the other blissfully sleeps through the night.”

— Stephanie Day-Harrington

“Fragmented sleep — the half-awake listening, the waiting — is genuinely damaging even if you never fully get up. Dozzi gives each person an actual window of uninterrupted sleep.”

— Chanlyn Imler · Pediatric Sleep Health Coach

“It’s been game changing for us. I have actually been getting more deep sleep through the night and doing the schedule really helped.”

— Dozzi parent

“I had no idea the impact of sleep quality until we started using it! Both my husband and I immediately noticed feeling more rested in the morning.”

— Amber Huuman

“We absolutely love our Dozzi Sleep monitor! It’s a genius idea for parents. When the baby cries, only one of us gets the alert, so the other can keep sleeping. I love that we can choose who gets the alert and when, and the alerts aren’t harsh or startling. When you’re exhausted, those extra few minutes of sleep make a BIG difference! Definitely recommend it to any tired parents!”

— Rachel Hughes

How It Started

During our second child's infancy, we were both running on empty. Every night was the same — the baby cries, we both wake up, and the negotiation begins. Who went last time? Who has the earlier meeting? Who's more exhausted? One night we looked at each other and said, what if the monitor just woke up whoever was sleeping lightest? So we filed a patent, built a prototype, and started Dozzi.

The three questions everyone asks

Is there a subscription? No subscription required — pay once and every core feature is yours for good. The one optional extra is the Ring camera link, $3/month through your Ring account.
Does Dozzi have a camera? No. Dozzi is audio-only; you can link a Ring camera you already own.
Is Dozzi a medical device? No, and we don't claim to be one. It won't detect or prevent SIDS.

Long road to get here. Just getting started.

Already in Real Homes

Dozzi isn't waiting for a launch to prove it works. Beta units are already running in real families' homes across the country — tested in actual nurseries by actual sleep-deprived parents.

U.S. Patent Granted

Dozzi's intelligent alert routing system is protected by a granted U.S. utility patent with additional patents pending.

Quality first
15+ Prototypes Built

This isn't a concept. We've been designing, testing, and refining Dozzi through more than 15 working prototypes.

Designed by Parents

We built Dozzi because we needed it. Three kids, endless sleepless nights, and one too many 2 AM arguments.

Engineer-Built

Designed by an electrical engineer from circuit board to software. Every component of Dozzi was built in-house, not outsourced to a faceless factory.
