Four of the first families to live with Dozzi wrote to us about it — including one reviewer who wears two hats: parent and professional pediatric sleep coach. These are their words, shared with permission.
"Gone are the awkward grumpy stare-offs"
Dozzi has been amazing to use for our toddler who still consistently wakes up during the night. Gone are the awkward grumpy stare offs in the middle of the night waiting for someone to say "I'll do it." Instead, we can set it so only one of us is alerted and the other continues to blissfully sleep through the night.
Nap time has also been a big change for us, as we can actually put our phones down and engage.
We've loved the app so far and are so excited to use it in our upcoming newborn stage. It's already alleviated some of the anxiety that comes with the newborn sleep schedule!

"A game changer for sleepless baby nights"
Dozzi is a game changer for sleepless baby nights. I had no idea the impact of sleep quality until we started using it! Both my husband and I immediately noticed feeling more rested in the morning. Our toddler has outgrown Dozzi for now, but we will be reusing it for baby #2 when the time comes.

"My husband could sleep through a fire alarm"
My husband could sleep through a fire alarm. I'm not exaggerating. Two kids, multiple night wakes, and I was the one getting up every single time because he just... didn't hear it.
And honestly — sound machines in both rooms, a hallway between us and the kids — I wasn't always hearing them either. Our toddler is at the age where he wakes up to pee at night, and half the time I wasn't catching that until he was already upset.
We got to test Dozzi before it launched and what makes this product different before I even talk about how it works — there's a real family behind it. Kim and Ben built this because they were living the exact same situation so many of us are. That matters. You can feel it in how the product is actually designed.
It's a baby monitor that talks to your Apple Watch. When the baby cries — or the toddler is up — it vibrates one wrist. Just one. You pick how you want to split it. We do alternating, so it automatically trades off each wakeup between us. There's also a schedule mode if one of you takes the first half of the night and the other takes the second, and a smart mode that reads your sleep depth and wakes whoever is sleeping lightest.
He wears his watch every night now. And for the first time since having kids, I actually sleep through his turn. 3.5 years and 2 kids later — I did not think this was possible a few months ago.

A pediatric sleep coach's view
As a Pediatric Sleep Health Coach I came across the ad for the Dozzi. It immediately piqued my interest and I knew I needed to know more.
The number one thing couples fight about in the newborn and infant stage isn't feeding or schedules — it's overnight responsibility. Who got up last. Who has to work tomorrow. Who's more tired. I hear it constantly from the families I work with.
And a lot of the time it's not even intentional imbalance. One partner just sleeps harder. The alerts wake both people but only one actually gets up, and now you've got two sleep-deprived parents instead of one well-rested person handling the shift. Two exhausted parents helps no one. And one clinically sleep deprived parent only makes everything harder. Dozzi levels that field.
It's a monitor that connects to your Apple Watches and routes the alert to one wrist based on whatever system works for your family — alternating, time-based shifts, or a smart mode that reads sleep depth and wakes whoever is closest to the surface anyway.
What I care about from a sleep perspective is that fragmented sleep — the half-awake listening, the waiting — is genuinely damaging even if you never fully get up. Both parents lying there in a vigilant state all night is not rest. Dozzi gives each person an actual window of uninterrupted sleep, and that is a completely different thing for how your body recovers.
I used it myself with my own family. It works. If overnight imbalance is wearing your relationship down, this is worth looking at.
