Thank you for choosing the Dozzi DZ-H1 Smart Baby Monitor Hub. This manual describes how to set up, operate, and maintain your hub, and includes important safety, regulatory, and warranty information. Please read this manual completely before using the product.

Important Safety Information
⚠ WARNING — STRANGULATION HAZARD
Children have STRANGLED in cords. Keep this cord out of any child's reach.
The Dozzi DZ-H1 is supplied with a USB power cord that presents a strangulation hazard to infants and young children. Failure to follow these instructions can result in serious injury or death.
ALWAYS:
- Keep the cord MORE THAN 3 FEET (0.9 m) from any crib, bassinet, playpen, or other place a child sleeps or plays.
- Never place the hub in or attached to a crib, bassinet, playpen, or any sleep surface.
- Never extend the cord with an extension cord or any other cable.
- Inspect the cord regularly for damage, fraying, or wear. Stop using the product immediately if the cord is damaged.
- Always use the hub with the power adapter and cord supplied by Dozzi Sleep Systems LLC.
General Safety
- The Dozzi DZ-H1 is intended for indoor use only.
- The hub is not waterproof. Do not submerge the hub, adapter, or cord in water.
- The hub is not a medical device. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent any medical condition.
- The hub is not a substitute for direct adult supervision of an infant or child.
- Do not modify or attempt to repair the hub. Tampering may cause hazards and will void the warranty.
- Use only the power adapter supplied with the product. Other adapters may not meet safety or compliance requirements.

Hub Placement
Proper placement of the hub is essential for safety and optimal performance.
Required Placement Distance
Place the Dozzi DZ-H1 hub on a flat, stable surface at least 3 feet (0.9 m) away from any crib, bassinet, playpen, co-sleeper, or other place where a child sleeps or plays. The cord must remain out of reach of any child at all times.
Suitable Locations
- A nightstand, dresser, or shelf located at least 3 feet from the crib
- A wall-mounted shelf positioned away from the crib
- A bookcase or other furniture out of an infant's reach
Prohibited Locations
- Inside or attached to a crib, bassinet, or playpen
- On the rail or frame of any sleep surface
- Anywhere within reach of an infant or young child
- On surfaces where the cord could drape into the crib
Surface Requirements
The hub should be placed on a flat, stable, and level surface. Avoid placing the hub on uneven or unstable surfaces where it could fall. Do not place the hub on or near heat sources, in direct sunlight, or in environments where it may be exposed to moisture.
Setup
Step 1: Connect Power
- Insert the small end of the included USB cable into the power port on the back of the hub.
- Insert the other end of the cable into the included power adapter.
- Plug the adapter into a standard wall outlet.
- Confirm that the cord is routed away from any crib or other sleep surface and remains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from any place a child sleeps or plays.
The hub will power on automatically. The status indicator LED will illuminate.
Step 2: Download the Dozzi App
The Dozzi app is required to operate the hub.
- iOS: Search for "Dozzi" in the App Store, or scan the QR code on the Quick-Start Insert.
- Android: Search for "Dozzi" in Google Play, or scan the QR code on the Quick-Start Insert.
Step 3: Create or Sign In to Your Dozzi Account
Open the Dozzi app and follow the on-screen instructions to create a new account or sign in to an existing account. A valid email address is required.
Step 4: Pair the Hub
- In the Dozzi app, tap Add Device.
- Follow the in-app instructions to enable Bluetooth on your phone.
- The app will detect the hub and guide you through Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) pairing.
- When prompted, enter your home Wi-Fi network name and password. The hub connects to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks.
- Wait for the hub to complete its initial connection. The status LED will indicate when pairing is complete.
Operation
Status Indicators
The status LED on the hub indicates current state:
- Solid green: Connected to Wi-Fi and operating normally
- Slow blinking: Pairing mode (waiting for app connection)
- Fast blinking: Cry detected
Receiving Alerts
The hub continuously monitors for infant sounds and routes alerts to paired devices. When an alert is triggered, you will receive a notification via the Dozzi app on your phone and your paired Apple Watch or Wear OS device.
Adjusting Sensitivity
In the Dozzi app, you can adjust alert sensitivity to match your environment and preferences. Higher sensitivity detects quieter sounds; lower sensitivity ignores ambient noise. Find the setting that works best in your home.
Co-Caregiver Setup
Invite a partner or other authorized caregiver to share alerts. Dozzi allows for users to decide which method determines which caregivers receives an alert. There are four modes to choose from: Smart, Alternate, Schedule, or Broadcast.
Smart: the caregiver in the lighter sleep state receives the alert.
Alternate: the alerts switch between caregivers.
Schedule: one caregiver receives all the alerts during one shift and the other receives all the alerts in the second shift.
Broadcast: all alerts go to all monitoring caregivers.
Apple Watch and Wear OS Integration
The Dozzi app supports paired smartwatches for delivering alerts to your wrist. Configure smartwatch pairing in the Dozzi app settings. Critical Alerts (iOS) are supported for high-priority notifications.
Turning Off the Hub
To turn off the hub, unplug the power adapter from the wall outlet. The hub does not have a power button.
Care and Maintenance
Cleaning
Clean the hub exterior with a dry or slightly damp soft cloth. Do not use liquids, sprays, abrasive cleaners, or solvents. Do not allow moisture to enter the hub through any opening.
The cord and adapter may be wiped with a slightly damp soft cloth. Do not submerge in water. Disconnect from power before cleaning.
Cord Inspection
Inspect the cord regularly for signs of damage:
- Cuts, fraying, or exposed wires
- Cracking or splitting of the jacket
- Loose or damaged connectors
- Discoloration or burning around connection points
If any damage is found, stop using the product immediately and contact Dozzi Sleep Systems LLC for a replacement cord. Do not attempt to repair a damaged cord.
Storage
If the hub will not be used for an extended period, unplug it from the wall outlet and store it in a clean, dry location away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Troubleshooting
Hub Will Not Pair with the App
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone.
- Ensure your phone is within 10 feet of the hub during pairing.
- Confirm that the hub is powered on and the status LED is illuminated.
- Close and reopen the Dozzi app, then retry pairing.
- Reset the hub by pressing the green button and waiting for the led to stop blinking, then immediately pressing the green button a second time, then waiting for the blinking to stop and immediately pressing the green button a third time.
- Power-cycle the hub by unplugging and replugging the power adapter.
Hub Disconnects from Wi-Fi
- Confirm that your Wi-Fi network is operating normally on other devices.
- Ensure the hub is within range of your Wi-Fi router. Walls, distance, and interference can affect connection.
- Confirm that you are using a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. The hub does not connect to 5 GHz networks.
- Power-cycle the hub. If the issue persists, re-pair the hub through the Dozzi app.
- Reset the hub by pressing the green button and waiting for the led to stop blinking, then immediately pressing the green button a second time, then waiting for the blinking to stop and immediately pressing the green button a third time.
App Does Not Receive Alerts
- Confirm that notifications are enabled for the Dozzi app in your phone's settings.
- For iOS, confirm that Critical Alerts are enabled in the Dozzi app permissions.
- Ensure your phone has an active internet connection.
- Confirm that the hub is connected to Wi-Fi (status LED solid green).
- Check alert sensitivity settings in the app.
Apple Watch or Wear OS Alerts Not Working
- Confirm that the Dozzi app on your phone has been launched at least once since the watch was paired.
- For Apple Watch, confirm that notifications mirror your iPhone or are independently configured for the Dozzi app.
- For Wear OS, confirm that the companion app is installed on the watch.
- Check that the watch is charged and within Bluetooth range of your phone.
Hub Will Not Power On
- Confirm that the power adapter is securely connected to both the wall outlet and the hub.
- Try a different wall outlet to rule out an electrical issue.
- Inspect the cord for damage. If damaged, do not use; contact support for a replacement.
- If the hub remains unresponsive, contact support@dozzisleep.com.

Warranty Information
Dozzi Sleep Systems LLC warrants that the Dozzi DZ-H1 hub and its included accessories are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of 1 year from the date of original purchase.
This warranty covers manufacturing defects only. It does not cover:
- Damage caused by misuse, accident, or unauthorized modification
- Damage from exposure to liquid, extreme temperature, or improper handling
- Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality
- Damage to the cord or adapter caused by improper use, including extension cord use
- Loss or theft
To make a warranty claim, contact support@dozzisleep.com with your proof of purchase, the hub's serial number (printed on the bottom of the hub), and a description of the issue. Dozzi Sleep Systems LLC will, at its option, repair, replace, or refund the product.

The Dozzi DZ-H1 hub processes audio in your home to detect infant sounds and routes alerts to paired devices through Dozzi's cloud services. The collection, use, storage, and protection of personal data is governed by our complete Privacy Policy.
